Edward Crites

Founder & CEO

Dad, Family short order chef, Golf nerd, Newcastle United Fan, Red and White Irish Setter owner, US AIr Force (Retired), and aspiring life-long gentleman in training.

I’m Edward, but I prefer to go by Ed. After dedicating over 23 years to the U.S. Air Force, I have transitioned into a fulfilling civilian career that continues to challenge and inspire me. My journey began in Seattle, my hometown in the United States, but my career has taken me all around the globe. I currently find myself living in the United Kingdom, where the weather often brings a familiar comfort that reminds me of home. This international lifestyle has not only provided me with numerous professional opportunities but has also ignited my passion for exploration and discovery. I love immersing myself in new cultures and meeting people from different walks of life.

Music has always played a significant role in my life. I have a deep appreciation for the timeless tunes of Frank Sinatra; his smooth voice and classic songs resonate with me on many levels. I enjoy the romantic and expressive melodies of Eros, which often evoke strong emotions. Additionally, I’m a big fan of Nightwish, whose symphonic metal blends powerful instrumentation with lyrical depth, creating an immersive musical experience.

The inspiration for this site comes from my admiration for Amor Towles’ fantastic novel, A Gentleman in Moscow . The character of Count Rostov captivates me with his sophistication and charm, igniting my desire to revive the elegance and artistry of gentlemanly conduct in my content creation. I believe in the timeless virtues of kindness, respect, and style, and I strive to incorporate these principles into everything I do.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I place significant importance on fostering relationships built on shared experiences and open communication. I’ve learned that the connections we make with others enrich our lives beyond measure. Although I hold strong beliefs—especially regarding the current political landscape—I prefer to focus on the purpose that my work brings to my life and the positive impact I can make in the community around me.

Recently, I took a step outside my comfort zone and captured a photo of myself. For someone who has always been hesitant about photos, it felt like a significant move toward embracing who I am and accepting my own image. After all, self-acceptance is crucial to living an authentic life, and I’m committed to this journey of embracing my identity.

Looking ahead, I have plans for a podcast that I’m excited about. The initial episodes will be relatively short, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, allowing me to connect with listeners without overwhelming them. My goal is to gradually evolve these into full-length broadcasts of 60 to 90 minutes, including engaging guest interviews that provide valuable insights and stories.

Ultimately, I look forward to settling down in the EU someday, embracing my dual citizenship with Luxembourg and exploring new avenues of personal and professional growth.

I value the connections I make and strive to respond to all inquiries, comments, or questions as soon as I can, despite the demands of my various projects. Open communication is important to me, and I appreciate your patience as I balance my commitments and engage with you.
